Pick up manufacturer Isuzu Motors India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Isuzu Motors, Japan, delivered three Isuzu D-Max Single Cab vehicles to Snowman Logistics, a leading integrated temperature controlled logistics service provider in the country. The company chose the Isuzu D-Max to add to its existing fleet of reefer trucks as it offers unmatched reliability and performance especially for refrigerated applications.
Powered by a 2499cc, 4-cylinder intercooled turbocharged diesel engine, the D-Max supports the need for powerful refrigeration and ensures higher productivity. The vehicle is designed with in-built features that support the refrigerated applications, thereby reducing the need for retrofitment.
Commenting at the key handover occasion, Shigeru Wakabayashi, Deputy Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India, said, “We are extremely happy to have Snowman as our customer, as we believe they have set a benchmark in the Indian cold-chain business in line with global standards, with state-of-the-art systems, processes and logistics. The choice of the Isuzu D-Max to service their high customer expectations only reiterates the D-Max’s world renowned reliability and efficiency. We are confident that our presence in the cold-chain transportation will increase manifold in the future.”
